    Good but...

Posted by Erick Rugerio on 24th Mar 2019

I give 3 stars because the behind-the-scenes shooting video was not what I was expecting. I thought it would be a full teaching video about how Elise do a shooting including direction but it is just a music video of about 9 minutes. I think this should be written in the description. PDF is great.

Elise's work is just beautiful! I found the PDF very informative and have gone back through it a few times since my initial purchase. I have been taking photos for 3 years but only just starting up my lifestyle business. She goes through her gear and a couple of her go to poses which was so helpful too! I really enjoyed watching the video - there was no commentary through it, but for me watching how she works was enough, because of how detailed the PDF was.

    Very Informative!

I am just starting to add in-home newborn photography to my portfolio. I was looking for a breakout that went over the start to finish flow of a newborn session along with technical aspects. I feel that Elise did that and more! I loved her video with the family. The only thing I wish she added was a video showing a family with siblings. Her work is beautiful and her confidence in how she runs her sessions is very inspiring!

    Great breakout!

This breakout was incredibly helpful as I have been expanding my business to include newborn lifestyle. Elsie has such artistry and confidence in her approach. She isn't afraid to break the rules and follow her heart. Her hear led approach to her sessions was very inspiring. I especially loved her advice for always having the family touching. I saw a dramatic improvement in my very next session after the breakout. Focusing on Connection really does allow you to tell the family's story in a deeper way. She advises to give up trying to pose the baby or wait for her to sleep and just shoot wide open and go with the flow!! Very freeing! I loved her editing videos as well. This is well worth it if you are interested in this genre. Always an honor to learn from a true artist! I highly recommend.

    Little bit disappointed

Posted by Unknown on 27th Feb 2017

I bought this b.o. and although I like her video how she does the session in the house, I'm a bit disappointed about the editing video's, she only uses presets that I don't have. I know maybe I haven't red good enough that she will discuss her favourite presets. But I thought she will also edit without presets. If I knew this I think I would not bied it. Sorry for the neg. review. I like her photo's and how relaxed she does the session.

So informative! Well worth the $

Posted by Amanda on 17th Jan 2017

I bought Elise's breakout a few days prior to an in-home newborn session I had scheduled. I was feeling kind of stuck in a rut and was hoping for some new perspectives on how to approach my session. Her breakout was SO helpful and my session was a complete success which I largely attribute to the guidance and advice she provided in her videos and PDF. She completely changed my perspective on the way I shoot, bringing me back to why I fell in love with photography in the first place. Her editing videos were also incredibly informative. I feel like her advice extends beyond shooting newborns and can extend to any lifestyle session. I cannot say enough good things about this breakout. So worth the $! Thank you, Elise!
