I took a course in beginners DSLR video at a local well known community college earlier this year, I walked out half way through the first class as the instructor was so bad. They replaced the instructor for the next round and I tried again and although it was much better and I learnt a few things it really wasn’t what I wanted. I wanted to learn about camera angles, settings, editing, storyboarding, planning, I wanted to get my teeth stuck into a project and then to get feedback on it. The course cost me over $300 and I don’t feel I learnt much at all. This breakout cost about $70AUD and it has EVERYTHING I was searching for and more. Amy and Kim have covered the best bits and added even more content with the closed Facebook group with live editing videos and question and answer sessions or just a few new tips. It’s a great space to share your videos as well as everyone is learning. Definitely worth the investment, wish they had made it before I wasted my money on the community college and 8 weeks of my life! Thanks ladies. Sasha on 10th Nov 2016
This breakout session is exactly what I needed! With its visually friendly PDF, and detailed editing videos, this breakout is jam-packed with amazing information! This Breakout has sparked my inner creativity and direction in an entirely new way.
I would highly recommend this breakout to anyone that wants to get into videography. Thank you, Amy and Kim! Joanna Chau on 10th Nov 2016
For over 3 years I have wanted to learn video. Finally last year I made a leap (okay maybe it was a small hop) and I “learned” video. As much as I loved the mess that I created, life got ahead of me and I stopped learning. This breakout inspired me to try again. I have learned so much by reading and watching the videos that I am sure that 2017 will be full of videos of boys and I can not wait to add it to my list of services for my clients. Thank you Amy and Kim for giving us everything there is to know. I know your heart and soul was put into it. If there ever was a time to buy a breakout, this one is it! Taryn Boyd on 10th Nov 2016
