    A Personal Mentoring Session

Posted by Anna on 8th Apr 2018

I have purchased a lot of breakouts through the years, but this one has been by far the most useful to me. This breakout is like a personal mentoring session, in which Susan walks you through her process from start to finish. I felt like I was getting to sit down with one of my favorite photographers and pick her brain about how she does what she does. If you love Susan's work (and really, what's not to love?), this is a tremendously valuable breakout. You will walk away with so much insight about how she creates such beautiful images that you can then apply in your own work.

Little Adventures, Big Pictures is an outstanding breakout!

Susan has put together a comprehensive guide to photography that really takes you inside her entire process. I love seeing how she approaches a scene, the adjustments she makes and then the final product. I feel like I am there with her and I love hearing her thought process. In addition to all the the great information Susan provides, you also get to be inspired by her beautiful images. Truly a win-win! Thank you for a fantastic breakout, Susan!

This breakout is a must for any skill level.

Posted by Ruth Ramos on 4th Mar 2018

I’ve taken several breakouts throughout the past two years but I am especially grateful for this one. I love how Susan explains in detail her thought process, and why the image would not have worked as well if she had made different choices. Throughout her pdf I had several moments of enlightenment. She gets into details regarding her shooting methods and her examples are amazing. I loved getting to see her exposure details for each image as well. It’s like you get to jump in her brain. She covers so much in one break out.

I love following Susan’s work on Instagram and I’m always amazed by her beautiful work!

So happy I decided to do this breakout. The PDF is filled with so much information and photos about her camera settings, composition, light and how she uses it all to capture the moments and much more. She explains it all very well and also has added lots of photo examples. It was really fun seeing the behind the scenes videos and seeing how she creates her magical photos! She really explains why she chose to do this or that.. and does the same in her editing videos. Watching her edit is so inspiring. I already added a few of her tips and tricks into my own work. I really recommend this breakout. Do it! :)
