Cinema Presets Sampler for LIGHTROOM

Write a Review

In celebration of our inclusion on the Inc. 500 list of America's fastest growing companies - and with thanks to the members and customers that helped us to get there - we're pleased to offer this Cinema Presets sampler, which includes:

  • one black-and-white (Casablanca),
  • one color (Gentlemen Prefer Blondes), and one tonality (Hiller) preset.

The full Cinema Collection (available for Lightroom 4/5, LR Creative Cloud) can be purchased here:

It includes one sharpening preset, five black-and-white presets, thirteen color presets, and nine shadow-and-light modifiers. The palette and tonality of each preset honor some aspect of the films for which they are named, from Breakfast at Tiffany's to Casablanca, and the accompanying "Director's Cut" presets serve as modifiers to allow you to customize your cinematic creation.

Because these are creative (not corrective) tools, these presets work best on images that have already been adjusted to achieve proper global exposure and white balance. For best results, complete your basic edits in the Basics panel within Lightroom, then run your preferred preset or cycle through them until you find the one that best captures your vision. The Director’s Cut shadow-and-light modifiers help you refine your processing by applying stylized tonality to the chromatic array of the Cinema presets. Tweak if needed, and you’re done!

To learn more about how these presets work and to see sample images processed with each preset, download the free user guide here.

The Cinema presets sampler is optimized for Lightroom 4 / Lightroom 5 are compatible with Lightroom CC; they are not compatible with earlier versions of Lightroom, Photoshop, or Photoshop Elements.

This is a downloadable item.  Due to the nature of digital downloads , such products are not subject to refunds or credit.

    Truly Cinematic!

Posted by Rachel Thornley on 2nd Oct 2013

I have never bought presets before b/c I'm decidedly determined to do all things on my own. However, being a life-long devourer of AMC (back when it really was American Movie Classics) and TCM, I couldn't pass these up. I. Love. Them!! I was amazed as I critically eyed each preset and thought, "Does this rrreeeeaaaallllyyy look like Breakfast At Tiffanys?" and every single time I was impressed and thought, "Yep!" They're all amazing - you will adore them!! (Bought for Lightroom)

    ACR Cinema Presets

I love these, especially the black & white one - I usually don't apply b&w, sepia, etc in ACR but I love doing it in ACR now. The tone is perfect. Thanks!!

New to presets and I love this package!

I am a very new user of LR. In fact I have only had it for a couple of months. I downloaded this set as a free gift. I cannot compliment this set enough! I am currently taking a studio portrait class and I have used the Casablanca and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes preset on a few of my class photos. Everyone always compliments then. The nicest compliment is the fact that no one ever says “which preset?” They just love the look. Thank you CM
